Once again, the chief propagandist of the right, Frank Luntz, is advising Republicans how to kill any financial reform by manipulating the language of the debate. He successfully led the distorted attack on health care reform with a memo called, "The Language of Health Care 2009." Now, he aims to repeat his damaging tactics with "The Language of Financial Reform." As the slogan of his company, The Word Doctors, proclaims: "It's not what you say, it's what people hear." And you can bet, you will hear his false words, meant to demean, discredit and destroy true reform, oft repeated by congressional Republicans in the days and weeks to come. Please read his memo and understand the verbal disinformation that is once again meant to misinform and manipulate the voters.
